Why does no one belive in Hell?

Question

Why does no one belive in Hell?
God created Hell so that the people that didnt love him had someplace to go. If you love money more then God you might go to hell. God loves us no matter what we do, but if we dont love him he wont force us to go to heaven. We also have a great misconception of heaven. Heaven is worshipping God for all of eternity, if you dont want to worship God now why would you after you die.

Answer

Because belief in anything not seen requires faith, and most people arent willing to invest the time it takes to look past the obvious five senses and try to figure out if there is more going on than meets the eye. brbrIf you believe in Good and Evil, the question is even simpler. Would an evil being WANT you to believe in Hell, or just to eat, drink, and be merry andor quotprofit at your brothers expensequot until it is too late? Catering to quotEat drink and be merryquot is a profitable venture, so our advertising supported media usually ignores the unobvious and allows darkness to most of work without restraintbrbrBut the fact is that even if the media ignores it and most people are blind to it, prophecies that were unknowable in advance which were fulfilled sometimes hundreds of years later and are being fulfilled in our daytime. Plus I do happen to believe in God, the afterlife, etc. because of many many experiences I have had personally that cant be otherwise explained without a quotsoulquot. brbrThis leaves only one set of questions, which is quotwhat kind of choices will a person make? hellish or heavenly, and what about the mistakes in between that make the position of a Savior or Redeemer or intercessory beings, etc. necessary. brbrThose questions are out of scope for this particular thread, but look for my answers elsewhere in Yahoo if you are interested as I will be posting here for some time to come.

Question

Is this a good poem?
i wrote this in about minutes and please be as harsh as necessary

Answer

I love this. It really makes you think.brAnd as you can see from my poem a hurt heart or a heart broken into four pieces can still feel. In fact the feelings are amplified. It now feels even more. It may be shy and timid, but can feel even more once its been healed because its felt love, broken love, and repaired love.

Is there such a thing as a PERFECT BEING?

Question

Is there such a thing as a PERFECT BEING?

Answer

A dead person... They cannot be improved, which is what a perfect person is isnt it. They are also unable to make mistakes... This is objective perfection I think.brbrSomeone you truely love is also beyond improvement. If you are not aware of someones flaws, they are perfect in your eyes. This is a subjective perfection I think. It is also romanticism. Its definitely not realism but love and realism couldnt be any more opposite to one another.brbrEveryone and everything is perfect if you look through loving eyes. Like a mother looking at her new born child.brbrIf we stopped trying to improve everything and judging it with concepts of right, wrong, good and bad, including ourselves, we would live in a perfect world.brbrPerfect, in my eyes is the absense of judgement. All things are just as they are. Perfect.brbrUnrealistic yes but as I said, love and realism are two very different things.
