Why does everyone think Harry Potter is stupid?
Is it because its become really popular the last few years, or is it some sort of personal vendetta against good books?

Dont lose any sleep over it the person in question probably doesnt like to read or maybe even cant. The Harry Potter books are some of the best in recent history. But not everyone is the reading type, so they make fun of those who are, because it makes them feel better.
